Patrol has 2 shifts, 12 hours. Day shift and night shift.

2 on and 2 off, then 3 on and 2 off, then 2 on and 3 off.

Every other weekend is a 3 day weekend off or a 3 day weekend working.

In a 14 day pay period, you work 7 days and off 7 days.
