Murray Cohen died on January 13, 2003, the suspect obtained a marriage license from her home country of Bolivia on February 7th, 2003. How does that work? Three weeks after the victim died?
This fraudulent document gave her legal next of kin status and allowed her to block the victim's sons attempt to exhume the body to prove he was murdered. Specifically, to look for the lethal poison called Corazol. Suspect spent $170,000 successfully fighting the exhumation during the probate claiming she did not want to disturb her beloved husband's grave.
I guess if your the former head of woman police for the entire country of Bolivia, and a special narcotics agent, anything is obtainable. Historical records show suspect was asked to take a polygraph and refused.
How has all of this irrefutable evidence of murder and much more been ignored by so many people for over eighteen years?

Why did the Sarasota Medical Examiner's office falsify their report by claiming the victim's doctor prescribed him a lethal poison called Corazol? When Doug Smith of Fox 13 contacted the doctor in New Jersey, he had a much different story.

Why did the Sarasota Medical Examiners office falsely claim the decedent was found in his bed, when he was found on the floor wedged between the bed and the wall? Was someone at SSO covering up for the wife?
A clue to the last question.....

Meet the Sarasota Detective who decided Murray Cohen died a natural death. Would a doctor shopping cop whose in foreclosure and arrested with 400 oxycodone pills also participate in falsifying reports, and a murder cover up?

This was the guy who was the Sarasota Sheriff at the time of Murray Cohen's death. Would a sheriff who violated a court order and destroyed evidence in a civil case condone a murder cover-up perpetrated by people under his command?

Current Sarasota Sheriff, Kurt Hoffman was Balkwill's general Counsel at the time.

This story is a disgrace to honest law enforcement in Florida. Sarasota, where organized public corruption and murder is a way of life!
