Miramar ousts PBA
After months of discontent with PBA President Rod Miramar PD kicked PBA out. They cited lack of transparency, no desire to fight, continual lies to the reps, rape scandals and using our dues money to party hearty at various functions, including ones which we are not members of.
Enough is enough many members said.
This lack luster attitude and the lies have been the causation for other departments to leave the PBA. It’s not what it used to be.
Pembroke Pines has begun the process to leave the PBA as well.

Not soon enough. Vero beach PD just kicked the PBA. So did Sarasota PD, Orange County sheriffs office, city of west palm beach, and approx 30 other departments.
PBA has gone into the toilet and Rod is definitely not the savior. Rod can’t even tell the truth and his actions are more child like than a professional. PBA is sinking fast and we should jump ship before assessments are made to make up for their financial shortfall

Pba has been spreading falsehoods regarding FOP and the representation of its members for the last few years. Last minute disinformation and desperation of a dying organization.
No complaints about FOP from big agencies like Coral Springs, Fort Lauderdale, Davie, Plantation, Sunrise, Lauderhill, Miami, Miami Beach, Hialeah or even the birthplace of the PBA West Palm Beach. Smaller agencies Surfside, North Bay Village, BSO LTS, Golden beach no complaints either

Don’t forget how the Broward PBA shafted Gregg Rossman on endorsing him for Broward state attorney!
Instead Rod Skirvin From coconut creek Pd endorsed Joshua rydell coconut creek commissioner. Talk about conflict of interest and rydell didn’t even win.
Seriously Poor decisions being made.

We are on our way to shed the decaying PBA. Show of interest cards will be passed around and to no ones surprise they are expected to be filled out quite rapidly.
Rod Skirvin laid down the line. He challenged us to leave. We accept the challenge Rod.
