After getting a reality check from Slimes readers, Kameel @cornholepotatoinmytailpipe Stanley offered up an excuse for selecting ex-prison
convict (con) Mell as her source of information. She said he said that the time frame involved only THE PAST YEAR. Well now, that makes a difference (?) Maybe to a reporter who slept through journalism school when they taught Using Reliable Sources. Or a reporter who took an ethics class at Poynter Institute.
Instead of tweeting "Why Tampa Bay lawyers love devious attorney from Breaking Bad," her editor should tweet "Why Devious Reporters Report Slime at the Slimes" @Graham Brink https://twitter.com/grahambrink

Gibbs High community forum with Chief Holloway
http://theweeklychallenger.com/police-community-forum/
Veatrice Farrell said she was pulled over for speeding and ended up getting tased. When she complained to the Office of Professional Standards, they told her that it was the officer’s discretion to tase her.
Here we go again. Another one of the chief's partners:
Police: Veatrice Farrell made false 911 call about armed man at at Gibbs High
http://www.tampabay.com/news/publics...s-high/1226284
Got ticketed for speeding in a school zone near Gibbs High. Pizzed off, she called 911 and reported an armed man (the uniformed officer who ticketed her) on school grounds. Resisted arrest.

Good ole redlight cams. They made it impossible for Veatrice et al to wiggle out of a ticket by claiming racial profiling. But they still had a workaround with the ticket-fixing coalition. vadergreensheilacunningham When that came to an end they had Kriseman get rid of red light cams. Now they just show up at Holloway's "community" meetings to get their fix.

Goliath Davis had command bearing at the Gibbs meeting, not Chief Holloway. SPPD Community Awareness Division (directly under the chief's control) and the mayor's info/communication staff manipulated public info releases to make it appear the chief was top dog. Lap dog is more like it. Every press release, video, and photo was sneakily Goliath-less.
The Gibbs forum was like a cult gathering of the Sovereign City of South St. Petersburg -- an orchestrated cop smackdown event. When the haters spoke, savvy Chief Holloway didn't defend SPPD. He just performed
the way he always does by dancing around the fringes with a soft purring voice. Holloway, the master of the non-answer.
Goliath got what he wanted -- Kriseman's carefully worded cultish verdict. It sounds like the party platform of the Sovereign City of South St. Pete:
“What I saw and I heard was a loss of trust, a loss of respect from the police to the community and the community to the police.”
What community? Uh huh.

Political platform of the Sovereign City of South St. Pete:
SELECTIVE LAW ENFORCEMENT with favorable bias toward South St. Pete
Enhance the chief's power to dictate the parameters of law enforcement discretion thereby weakening officer discretion.
-control public information through in-house social media campaigns.
-groom a reporter to disseminate disinformation, ideally one who works for the the deputy mayor's former benefactor/employer.
-stage South St. Pete forums planted with criminals to bear false witness against police officers.
-implement surveillance of cops on patrol to dampen their initiative.
-discourage FIRs, traffic stops.
-issue statutorily illegal departmental order to not arrest juvenile criminals.
-see Addendum*
Axioms:
The biased use of enforcement discretion is a threat to the rule of law.
Sovereigns believe that they get to decide which laws to obey and which to ignore.

It's for real. I used google news, "sovereign citizen" and this came up just today...... Retired leo. They have networks, this guy's not far away. Some are smart enough not to use the term s.c. to avoid getting caught. Go by what they do.
