Just wanted to take a minute to say thanks to the deputies who work and patrol the area of Placid Lakes. My family and I spend most weekends and vacation in Placid Lakes and we appreciate the work of the deputies who have been aggressively patrolling the area. We have seen both marked and unmarked vehicles keeping the bad guys out of the neighborhood and have had the opportunity to speak to the deputies on occassion. They have always been friendly and professional. We are glad we chose Highlands County to spend our time off.
