Question:
If a citizen files a complaint, and that complaint gos to I.A., but I.A. finds it unfounded. Can I sue the complaint for slander since the I.A. is in my file forever?

Re: sLANDER
The rest of the story. First of all it is only slander if he adversely affects your ability to advance or affects your earning ability. When can you determine this. Hard question.
If you can prove that the complainant lied then it is non-judicial perjury if the complainant is properly warned and continues the lying or perjury. The problem is SAO who will not file on the case. Unfortunate part of the job

Didnt S.K. go through this recently and convicted the woman criminally? I can't believe some of the complaints we entertain, but I guess lessons from the past make it impossible to not at least look into it.

A Monroe County deputy sued in 2006. Two years later, he lost. He filed an appeal in September 2008 which you can track online at w w w.clerk-of-the-court.com. Here’s his story. Is it worth it?
