I don't know why in hell you people are surprised by this, all you got to do is take ole Charlie bird huntin on yo peoples property a few times and it gets you a cake job in T-town with a Captains pay check to go along wihit it, take him around a few more times and poof it gets you a Majors pay check....................
All this from a guy who's only claim to fame was being a State Fire Marshal Investigator, thats right a Investigator a line dog, not a supervisor a grunt, hell he was more qualified to stand in the window than he was to be a training officer, give me a f'ing break.

I think part of his payback is coming from when he was IUPA board president and signed of on the union contract. I mean look and the old Dept. rep from IUPA, he got what he was promised if he did what the Dept. wanted, K9.

I am pleased to announce the promotion of Tim Rutherford to the rank of Major. Tim has been with AgLaw since 1984, and has served in the rank of Sergeant, Lieutenant and Captain during his 24 year career with the Department all of it in the Bureau of Uniform Services. Major Rutherford will assume the duties and responsibilities currently assigned to Major Pittman who is retiring on August 31, 2008.

What are you so afraid of, the man deserves the promotion just for putting up with roly poly chief in Tally. The Lt Colonel likes him to.
