Team Work
Its the example of when Patrol and CIB work well together. D2 CIB has always worked well with Patrol and tries to include us in everything. They are also the only group that you see out at night working the road.
Good Job Patrol and CIB!

Hey Good Job poster, I dont think D2 CIB asked for this to happen and Im sure they would have preferred to stay home and not work another 20 something hour day. Im also sure they wish that never happened to that woman. We called them and they came. They never make us wait and they always come in force. To the other poster questioning their methods and thoroughness. I dont think that is appropriate since they have proven themselves to us over and over again.
Try being more supportive of your fellow leo's. Thanks D2 CIB.

Good police work from top to bottom....Believe it or not there are plenty of ways to screw up even an apparent open and shut case....
Kudos to the guys and gals who do their jobs day in and day out or all night....Everyone knows that no one downtown has any clue whats being done out there on a daily basis..When was the last time anyone from the staff, Chief included, showed any interest in actual police work....Too much time being spent whining about why they were passed over for promotion, worrying if they'll have a job come Jan 09, working on the police Olympics or out and out politicking...
Think you want to be a Detective??? I doubt you'll cut it for any length of time.It starts by being a squared away Deputy....Very few individuals at this agency have been there for any length of time and are/were extremely good at it..Reason is, if you are ,then you get everything dumped on you...Sucks but thats the way it is
If someone is telling you how great they were as a Detective its probably BS....The ones who are really good at it just quietly go about their business without having to toot their own horn....Their work and reputation speak for themselves.....Right now CIB is a tale of 3 different districts....D1 clueless supervision which has ruined the attitudes and work product....D2 busts ass, over worked and quickly burning out...D3 same as always low caseload low burnout nuff said....All three supervised by a Chain of Command that is a micro-managed, ineffective disaster...
Thankfully there are still men and women at the SSO who come to work everyday and do their jobs ...keep up the good work and stay safe....Change is coming
