It has been my pleaseure over the past 11 years to work with some great SRO's. I have decided to take my retirement from the Tampa Police Department. I feel fortunate to have been able to attend several professional conferences and make many friends in the SRO community. I applaud all of you who make schools safer so that students can learn and become productive citizens. Stay positive and safe.

What are you going to do now Mitch?

I am spending a lot of time with my family and waiting to see where my wife gets hired. She is interviewing at Colleges in the Southeast. If we end up staying here I will start looking for something I enjoy doing. Right now I am coaching and umpiring softball.
