Motorcycles

Why doesn't your agency use motorcycles for patrol on the highway? You could modify the saddle bags or make racks to carry the portable scales. Just look at the fuel cost savings, and the activity that would increase due to such an innovative idea :idea:

Two officers actually proposed that idea about 4 years ago. They did alot of leg work, got two harleys donated from a harley dealership for a trial period, they wrote up benefits to the state and even had an artist draw a picture of what the bikes would look like with our markings on them. That was 3 years ago, they are still waiting for an answer, but rumor has it the colonel was making jokes about it in tally, so I dont think its gonna happen.
