    I am devastated by this. I've known Matt for 8 years since I started at PCSO. Matt has to be one of the nicest people I know. Never complained about taking a call, was never rude or gave attitude on the radio. Matt would always write me and say good morning when I worked his channel. My shift and I was working today when the shooting took place and I have to say it's the worst thing I've experienced since I've been there. We're just beside ourselves with grief as well as the rest of the agency is. I don't know of one person that knew Matt that didn't like him. He will be greatly missed by us all. My heart goes out to Matt's wife and kids.

    The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a
    courthouse is this: You cannot post "Thou Shalt Not Steal," "Thou Shalt
    Not Commit Adultery," and "Thou Shall Not Lie" in a building full of
    lawyers, judges and politicians...It creates a hostile work environment.

    We feel your grief, but imagine his wife and kids. His wife was his partner for many more years than that. I'm sure no one is going through anything close to her pain or the kids. Don't forget to send them cards or give a hug when you see them.

    God Bless You all

    1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

    2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
    he leadeth me beside the still waters. Rev. 7.17

    3 He restoreth my soul:
    he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

    4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
    I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
    thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

    5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
    thou anointest my head with oil;
    my cup runneth over.

    6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
    and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
