It’s easy to tell genuine caring vs wanting to be recognized

The tragic shooting of officer Echaverry has brought to light several issues. The most glaring is the lack of compassion from a city cop, which is not reflective of the entire department.
Another take away is Stahl working hard trying to be recognized over genuine caring for the situation. On Monday, he stood behind Chief Caneva. Stahl shifted to make sure the cameras captured his presence (even though it took them a long while to show up). Then Stephanie Daniels came into the picture and Steadman can be seen leaning to one side then another just to be sure the cameras was on him.
After Monday's press he went home and returned for Tuesday's press gathering. He was wearing the very same shirt he wore the day before (that might explain his fowl odor).
Lastly, his comment on the POS city cop who handed up our guy was pathetic. For starters Steadman has difficulty pronouncing words properly. That aside, he was almost defending the pos. He could have simply said that the poor actions of one officer is not reflective of the entire department. That way he would have singled him out instead of protecting him.
And where was the rest of the PBA? On the front page of the Miami herald is a picture with the entire HPOA board. Just saying.

Never misses a photo op- it’s not only his MO, it’s all he cares about

Watching Stahl is both entertaining and embarrassing. His appetite for a photo op is nauseating. Can no one get through his skull how his behavior looks to others? He must think that saying hi to the governor impresses us. His title or position may impress himself but does little for the rest of us.

By now everyone knows that one of our squad members was grazed by a bullet meant to kill him. No one knew his status right away.
So, now comes tweedle dee and tweedle dumb to the scene. They didn’t go to the hospital to check on the officer- no they went to the scene and hung out with brass. I guess it made themselves feel important. Tweedle dee (Greenwell) chatted with Palmer the entire time. Tweedle dumb (Stahl) hung out brass as if he was starving for attention.
So, as to the previous comments-yes they are an embarrassment to themselves, the PBA, and the dept.

    Why?

Recently we buried a brother in blue from Doral.
I was surprised that Steadman Stahl was there so he deserves an atta boy. BUT, his goodwill (if it was even that) was overshadowed by his taking selfies with the casket in the background.
Why does he do boneheaded things like that? Does he think he’s photogenic? What’s the purpose to do that at a funeral?
It’s dumbfounding especially when he never stands up for the members.
