    Bueller?

Why is over hiring or mass hiring not the first thing being talked about after seeing how short we actually are? The new deployment still doesn’t help us. What’s needed is more hiring and it seems like we’ll never catch up. We haven’t increased our manpower per capita of the city for as far back as I can remember. Continuing to add more citizens to the city but not a large increase in officers is going to turn out bad for all. We’re drowning and guys on the street are burnt out.

1 call at a time and let the rest hold. Remember JC will have to answer to Joe citizen when her re-election happens. Nothing like waiting for two hours in south Tampa for that minor s4 and can't get johnny to soccer practice on time.

The City has increased its population almost 100,000 People over the last 20 years and we still have the same number of cops we did 20 years ago, meanwhile the fire department has grown its personnel 25% in same time period.

Do what you can, when you can. Don’t stack calls, don’t short one investigation to get to another. The people voted for JC, let them reap the benefits of her democratic leadership. They keep things in place to appease the public regardless of how poorly it actually works(a certain district Major for example). We’re not allowed to voice our opinions, so let our body of work do the talking. Work your calls to the best of your ability and do your best. If calls are holding, they’re holding. Eventually people will get fed up and voice their concerns to city council, and we’ll either continue the useless “peace walks” or the city will take of the kid gloves and tell people what they need to hear. Stay safe and go home to your families every night.
