Looks like they just changed the names of SAC and VCE to me. Heard they are moving Captains around in the next few weeks. Nothing new there we get a new captain every 6 months anyway.

He was correct. Day shift SAC squads in every district under the SEU are being converted to Polo and Khakis “Community Partnership” squads with an emphasis on the adopt a block and other like minded initiatives. real crime fighting will still be done by the two evening/ midnight SEU squads which will remain in plain clothes doing the SAC and VCE mission.
Hug a thug is in fact going city wide in the form of day shift SEU squads in every district. They haven’t learned with a 100% increase in homicides and even bigger in violent crime overall but may after a year or two of the massive failure day shift hug a thug in every district will be they will learn, let’s just hope it ain’t 500% increase by then.
