Worst decision ever was switching to IUPA. Please don’t make the same
Mistake we made. Keep a neutral outside union to represent you guys. If not , the iupa president will be feeding the chief information for his own personal gain which is what’s happening here in Hallandale. Don’t do it.

Hmmm? How would IUPA's International President acquire personal gain by feeding the chief at Hallandale information?

“International president” puhlease. His name is ratcisano and his all time aspirations are to make captain . He feeds the chief of police information because he believes he’s got “a chance”

The president and VP have to be members of the organization body. In theory it sounds good but it takes a ton of trust to have those people perform their duties without bias. Unfortunately our union president is desperately trying to get promoted to captain so he's way too close to our admin for his union position. People aren't happy because the trust you should have with the union is being violated by the president going straight to the admin with every conversation he has. Instead of our president fighting for the people, he's working as an admin mole. One of the main points of contention with our last contract was raising the cap of retirement pay which would've only benefited our admin and literally no one in the union body, just to give an example. Going IUPA could be the best or worst decision depending on who gets elected.
