FOP set up a tent at MCGREGOR BAPTIST and gave out water and food during an officer's funeral who was killed in the line of duty, years ago...even though PBA represented FMPD, and was nowhere to be found BKA-missing in action, FOP showed up and did a very unselfish and benevolent act.

If you're thinking of switching unions give IUPA a call the guys name is Jeff 941-350-9170.
He’s honest and unlike the PBA he returns calls.

Doesn’t matter who represents you if the city council/manager and command staff don’t want to work with you

    Run Don't Walk away
For 34 years we were with the PBA in Sarasota. Time and time again we got bad contracts and were told there was nothing more they could do. Grievance, what is that never heard or saw one filed. At shooting never saw a attorney. With IUPA we have attorneys come to the scene. No one talks to the officer unless there is public safety issue or through the attorney. We call the IUPA office and we get someone to talk to or they call back. It is like night and day. So run, run fast and far away from the PBA.

We’ll actions speak louder than words. Doesn’t matter is the city manager or mayor dislike you. Look what Broward did in the past

Mickie Mchale was the problem. He sits on the Florida PBA as Senior Vice Predental and President of the Southwest Florida Chapter and getting paid for doing nothing. He would go into negations without any articles in writing to give to management. On contact vote he doesn't post when the meeting for the vote. If you do go all he says this is the best you are going to vote yes. He is a big joke.
