The uniform change started at the jail under the Rice administration when a deputy videotaped the duty polyester pants burning like they were soaked in lighter fluid when exposed to a flame. The video was sent to the sheriff who approved the change from poly pants to BDUs. Initially they were supposed to be green but it got changed to black. Then some of the patrol guys who did not like the parade dress uniform and were jealous of the jail uniform changes pushed for a new patrol uniform and eventually made it happen. But the uniform reform did not start at the top.

The day does not exist that anyone on the road was ever jealous of a single thing that happens in the jail, including your stupid uniform. Not when you had the different D&C patch. not when you wore the same uniform. And certainly not when you switched to the tard-safe embroidered uniform short with BDU pants. You guys look stupid. But thanks for trying. I'm pretty sure no one will ever mistake us for a jailer in our dark green Class A uniforms. So you're safe when you sneak out to Mike's Pizza to get your food and act like you're an actual deputy for a few minutes.

Everyone will be issued Go Pro’s in order to film themselves off duty wearing external vest. Best video will be judged and the winner will get a large Cylindrical object to be placed in a strategic location. Yes and of course a Tik Tok video will be produced by our PIO.

And the white shirts were complained about under Rice. We have had suspects claim they used the white long sleeved shirts and ties as a great target reference. Rice didn’t care. Listen Retard, I get it that you can't handle facts in your broken brain, but you are smoking meth. Patrol's uniform pants NEVER changed under Rice or Coats. They stayed the same dark green with grey stripe the entire time. They didn't change for Patrol until Gualtieri changed us to dark green shirts and pants in like 2012. The complaint about white shirts has gone on for decades. Turnkeys went to BDU pants, that had nothing to do with any changes in Patrol. Screws got embroidered white uniforms because putting four buttons, a name tag and collar brass on was too difficult for you. I'm pretty sure that Gualtieri asked no one about dark green uniforms and picked what they would be and went to it. If you think a knuckle dragging hack made that happen, then thanks? Continue doing a great job and keeping inmates locked up and their prison purses checked regularly. You are doing a super great job.
