What's your FTO program like for experienced officers? Do you have to go to the academy again? Or is there a Holdover training like Tampa?

Thanks from a New York officer trying to escape NY. I just completed EoT.

You'll have to do the academy.

What’s the pay scale like? What does a normal “average” check look like for a 5 year deputy? Also, what is your off-duty rate?

Step plan ?? Haha pay sucks here. Go down a county to Hillsborough or down and west a county to Pinellas. You can still live in Pasco if your heart desires and work the other counties. Polk SO is also sucky pay and severely understaffed. Good luck.
