He has a point here with the real cop work stuff. I have yet to see a deputy with under 2 years on not call their sgt and ask for approval on how they are going to handle the call. Why? Well it’s been almost two years of this no arrest “covid” stuff and these deputies have no idea what kind of authority they actually have. Not authority in a bad way, but to make a decision on their own and be correct. Look at the stats a district had 33 bar crimes in 24 hours a few days ago. Why, well because deputies don’t want to do something and get yelled at anymore for doing their job.
