Dou to the high violet crime rate and at the request of the property management and people who live in said appointment complex . Resident Verification is requested of the sheriff's office to keep out people who are there to commit criminal acts. Notice none of the other appointments complexes have that because it is not asked of resident verification. If you would like move in with your family and see how long before you ask for the non-residents who are coming in to commit violent crimes be kept out. This is exactly the ignorance that causes disruption. There is not an officer checking IDs at the gate because they are all wanting to be “overseer” at the place. The officers are there because history has proven this is a location that can’t be trusted on their own. The decades that have passed have shown this complex is dangerous and filled with criminals that deal drugs among other criminal violations. The residents are poor not because of the Sheriff but because the residents have settled for the income the government offers them to live in that manner.

There are no comparable white complexes such as this. Why is that? The Sheriff didn’t build that place and put all blacks in there. The Sherifff didn’t cause drive by shootings to occur there. The Sheriff didn’t abandon his baby’s mama there with all 5 of her illegitimate kids. Why blame the Sheriff because you are too stupid to figure out the problem. The problem is obvious. If blacks wanted help they would not have their hand out for free stuff all the time and help the people helping their children be safe. DO NOT claim they are scared to offer help because they don’t trust police. If blacks were truly that fearful they wouldn’t commit 65% of the crime and fight cops on every turn. Also with your effort to be a virtue whore you blamed the Sheriff. Please explain why the Sheriff is the problem. Is it because most children in that community will grow up without a father. Is it because the Sheriff does not require the children in that community to attend school regularly? Is it because the Sheriff made the moms in that community teach their kids to misbehave to get more money for having a child with behavior issues? By the time the Sheriff is involved the kids are screwed. The only way for that community to get better is to have accountability not excuses why they grow up to perpetuate the horrid cycle of poverty and social ignorance. As long as the black community is content being victims and living on a minimum level substance they will continue to be considered broken.

I have a challenge for you. Find a predominant black neighborhood that IS NOT dangerous to live in. As for white neighborhoods that check IDs there are many. It is called gated communities. I would also guess you don't live there either. How would you like to let your kids go play outside while people are selling drugs and regular drive by shooting occur. I'm somewhat in agreement with "overseer" (great nickname by the way DW), but not for the same reason. Why put our deputies out there more than necessary? Why put them at further risk? Not just of injury, but risk of being demonized as the "bad guys" of this whole situation? Cops are a broad brush. They are not a surgical razor. I dont want them there simply because they will react and do what they are sworn to do. They will drive big ole police cars!!! They will be loud at times. They will not necessary ask nicely more than once! There will be OC, batons, tasers and of course the ubiquitous 9mm pistol.
