    The United States of America

If this story is true, this activity goes against the principles our original founders wrote into our Constitution. It is even more troublesome if juveniles were targeted because of bad grades.

The Board of Education has already stated that SROs will no longer have access to grades and disciplinary files....so that will clip the wings of at least some of the program.

Access to grades and students discipline

I believe SRO’s can no longer access grades or school discipline. If this is true, Amen. How many successful people made mistakes as youngsters? This policy may have been established for good intentions at first, especially with a SRO that truly wants to help kids, but the policy could easily be abused. Just can’t understand how any command staff or county attorney would approve such a violation of confidentiality and possible constitutional rights.

ILP is a proven program with proven results. MISTAKES... Just asked the victims of the South Florida school that was shot up or Sandy Hook or Columbine. I will bet some of this could have been stopped. History is what predicts behavior. When something like this happens again they will say "where were the cops, how come they let it get to this". This model is practiced with FDLE, Parole and Probation, State ATF, and numerous other state agencies. History predicts behavior.

Oh yes what you say sounds good however your lack of experience is showing. Gee weren’t the Boston Bombers on a watch list and didn’t the Russians warn us? The 911 hijackers took flying lessons and didn’t want to learn how to land. The FBI blew that. Look at the OK City bombing. All that crap is hot air. Oh yes he’s a bad kid and really dangerous. So let’s get real. Someone tells you that and you do what? Absolutely nothing. Nothings changed. There will always be bad guys. And when that Florida cop could and should have stepped up what did he do? Cowered in fear? Same in Columbine. It’s all a sham. The incompetent coddling their own lol. Keep beating your bureaucratic drum. It ain’t reality. The Secret Service will tell you they can’t stop a dedicated assassin and you think telling tales works?

Part of your response is correct. Especially the one about the coward cop in South Florida. However, Its a proven effective method.. Your right some people don't act when should. It comes down to this---don't act like a scum bag and you won't be on the list to watch. Yes kids make mistakes, but some make many more than others.

Since it’s according to you a proven effective record cite one instance of its effectiveness. The list to watch? What the hell does that mean? Do you know how LAPD handled a problem? SIS? That works and had statistical proof to work off of. Not the nonsense you’re spewing. The Delaware State Police followed a murder suspect 24/7 for a year and caught him in the act of trying to kill another. That’s 5 guys a shift 3 shifts a day 365 days. Do those dollars and cents. But what you’re pushing don’t float in the real world as it is
