Why is it that the contract for Tampa Fire Rescue mandates a minimum number of people working at all times. Some Tampa Fire Rescue employees are KILLING it with overtime while TPD employees are having to flex EVERYTHING. If a TFR lieutenant calls in sick, another TFR lieutenant is able to cover their shift. And the same thing goes for firefighter, driver, and chief.
TPD needs to have this in their next contract.
