    Don't let the current social climate scary you off. Tampa PD is just as messed up as every police department. With one distinct difference, our pension. The pension is your golden parachute at the end of this shit show of a career. If you plan right you can retire after 20 years, who else can say that.
    My advise is to sponsor yourself and take the first police job you can get (for the experience) then apply to Tampa.
