That’s the least of our worries. We are fighting amongst ourselves more then we fight the community. Just look at what the POC just put out! Really?!? You’re not ok? Wel I’m not ok with you not showing up to field force when you need to be there. I’m not ok with you showing up to scenes and acting like everyone’s defense attorney. I’m not ok with the out front racism we get from our fellow black officers. This is all bullshit and no one will stop it because they will be scared to be called a racist.

If this doesn't get fixed really fast by some real leadership it will not be a fracture; it will be BROKEN. If the cohesion of this agency gets broken it will never be able to be patched up.
Someone in top leadership better have some foresight in this or there will be agency problems they never thought would be possible and that is scary.
Are you OK, BLM?

Ooops. The pesky facts after a quick reaction. STOP WITH THE FACTS. Some people don't want them and want to believe a lie.

People are still crying about the 330 chase ... someone here needs to go see a therapist about it... my goodness... from mayor Gimenez to our director, they heard the “cries of the community” and the orders have been given... don’t chase FBI’s most wanted if the guy drives in front of you... don’t do the ACTR on a resisting subject even if it saves officers lives and avoids a nasty fight.... MDPD new slogan: “tough on cops, soft on criminals”.... los rubios want to blame cops for the hood being a shithole, step back, let them police themselves ... if we don’t let the point be made about how we are not the bad guys, and we are the ones keeping this from breaking into total anarchy, we are gonna keep getting blamed.... let it burn, let it all burn.... god knows we can’t protest, this is how it’s gotta be then...

How much money has been spent on the Blue/Brown details?
How many other districts had to go to work those details and have there own district man power suffer and have decreased response time? That results in officer safety risks with short man power.
What do the tax payers in the other districts think about there expected level of available patrol officers being used in another district?
How many constant outreach programs that costs money have to be repeated because some groups WANT crime and despair and poverty because they like to complain but will not fix the problems when help is being given over and over. They don't cooperate, won't testify, but when tragedy hits its always the same with 'somebody saw something and got to come forward and turn they selves in' and no one does and many people know the criminal who live on the next block. Stop the waist. Save the money. Let them be unto themselves and figure it out in they own area. It will collapse.

Sell Outs?
Spend all these years saying school police aren’t real police but we ban a choke hold never used ONCE by the Agency and we are sell outs.
You have a taser, use it. Better yet, practice your deescalation skills. We all know that the people that are mixing meth and fentanyl are going to naturally die from excited delirium whether we tase them, choke hold or just handcuff them and put them in the car.
Maybe every single person we encounter that’s high should be Marchman Acted immediately making the issue a fire or hospital one. Upload A-Form and call it a day.
Solutions are so much better than drama.
