POS Gimenez spoke about how financially well off Miami Dade is and how it continues to grow. Over and over he praised himself for the outstanding work he and his leadership team brought the county back to financial levels never before seen in this county.
He never once thanked the employees even thought for the first time he acknowledged the work of his immediate staff.
With the county being so flush with money, giving us a decent raise of 5% is not unreasonable.

Not surprised. It happens time and time again. A large number of us comes into law enforcement for the love of the profession and to protect the community we serve. Some, such as the case of JP, Amion, Artime, Castellanos, Glass, Mendez, etc., came into this job seeking promotions and power and will resort to any kind of unethical situation to reach their goal. These are people with no conscience , unable to grasp the reality of our calling and thirsty to serve any hoodlum who advances their career.
