History doesn’t lie
Now Command Staff is keeping track of a stat named “RPW” meaning “Real Police Work” because “Security Check” and “Crime Prevention” calls don’t meet the standard of “Real Police Work”. It’s comical how Command Staff complained stats were low (oh but we don’t have a quota) and encouraged us to do those *Non* Real Police Work calls so we could maintain a certain “ratio”. What a huge slap in the face. This kind of leadership is why we have so many disgruntled officers. Our Command Staff from the top down is in retirement mood and could care less about what direction this agency is heading. It’s collect a pay check while doing as little as possible. If anyone at this department should be held accountable for their time while on the tax payers dollar it should be our Command Staff!!!!

U are a ridiculous person. I wonder what squad you are on? Guess we will never know. Its really not a big deal , but you should definately quit and go to another agency if you feel so strongly about it.

Yes, leave this agency! Everyone else that made that decision has actually done better for themselves. How dare you point out the flaws and ridiculousness our beloved and well respected Command Staff shows us. LOL Keep up those stats Patrol Division!

Hes not mad cause anyone is forcing stats...which they dont do, esp this chief. He just mad cause he hiding his activity behind 78s...which he used to manipulate stats instead of 73s. If u just worked it wouldnt be an issue.

They don’t push stats but stats are posted quarterly, accessible to review daily for weekly, monthly and yearly records and talked about during briefings. You want to mention stats being manipulated as if command staff doesn’t do that already? If they don’t care about stats why do they want officers to do more FIR’s, written warnings etc. when they believe the numbers are low? You could have 100+ UTC’s and 200 written warnings but they will talk about your 1 FIR and 2 S84’s but it’s not stat driven. Nailed it
