Eric Ciaramella is the name of the CIA employee who triggered Democratic impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump, after he received guidance from Chairman Adam Schiff’s staff.

Federal documents reveal that Ciaramella is a registered Democrat holdover from the Obama White House. When he was accused of [illegally] leaking information to the media in 2017, Ciaramella left his post at the Trump White House and returned to the CIA.

The Intelligence Inspector General described Ciaramella as having “some indicia of political bias … in favor of a rival political candidate."

Eric Ciaramella is the whistleblower who was part of the Obama administration whose name is disclosed in emails released by the State Department.

Ciaramella interfaced with individuals who facilitated the anti-Trump dossier that was produced by Fusion GPS, which was reportedly financed by Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and the DNC.

Ciaramella also worked for Joe Biden on Ukrainian policy issues in 2015 and 2016, encompassing the time period for which Joe Biden’s son was being criminally investigated by a Ukrainian prosecutor.
