Advice for Bob on Inmate Records Specialists I

It seems that most of the IA investigations at the PCSO involve Inmate Records Specialist's not catching a release date and forcing an inmate to spend extra time in the jail. Why not take one of the IA Detectives and put them in charge of reviewing all of the inmate releases. Instead of Monday morning quarterbacking and giving the Specialist's days off, the Detecive would be able to locate the mistake and correct it immediately... Just a thought..

IA contains a bunch of backstabbing a-holes who suck up to Bob. They can barely find their way home let alone find mistakes in IR or any other place which requires a lot of work and precision, if assigned there.

The truth is that IR is a miserable place to work, always has been, always will be, mostly due to understaffing. People who work there can't wait to transfer somewhere else.

Inmate Records has been a sh!t-hole for decades so no reason to believe anyone or anything will improve things in the future. The biggest incompetents and morons are typically put in charge of Inmate Records and Classification.

Hmmm, inmate records is hard? Yeah, real hard matching a judgement and sentence to an inmate. Thats real hard work. Other people do the work, all you do is read it and follow it. Maybe it’s the dumbshit DDC supervisors that can’t read but know how to blame others. 🖕🖕🖕🖕

You have never worked there so you have no idea of what's it like, otherwise you would not be downplaying the job. Plus you obviously have not talked to anyone who works there. It got so bad that Inmate Records had to go to 8 hour shifts to try and retain people because too many people wanted to bail out.

You got right the part about incompetent supervisors, starting with the captain (an easy, do-nothing job because she is friends with BG and live near each other) to the former Lt. Ross (fired for sex on duty with a subordinate), and throw in the catty civilian supervisors who made work a living h e l l for her subordinates. The worst supervisors get assigned to IR because they can't do the job anywhere else.
