BWC's and punishment
Volusia Exposed has the latest IA's posted. It sure does seem like the fourth floor is using the BWC's to punish deputies. No wonder Chitty, Creamer or Timmy Morgan is not carrying or using a BWC.

I am sure Sgt Campanella, Sgt Peck, Cowger and Rittenour (the latest to be punished for this BWC issue) will agree that the BWC is being used for punishment.

Watch your back with this agency. It is a paper happy organization (and not good paper). You will catch an IA that will stay with you for the rest of your law enforcement career. Best advice is to do the minimum...and watch your back.

Add Cheek to the list of deputies hammered for BWC issues. Now when Cheek wants to get employed with another agency and their application asks if he has ever been subject to an IA or received negative discipline he will be screwed. Or if he wants a promotion (since he does not possess selection criteria the fourth floor is looking for) he will be screwed. Yet another reason to not do anything proactive. The only thing that happens when you are proactive is you catch bad paper. Just chill at Chick-fil-A or Perkins. It is safer, you get 5-0, and you don't catch bad paper.

Cheek can do anything he wants. He is qualified to do anything. This doesn’t disqualify him from anything. Not even a promotion.
