Tampa PD is a great agency except for the spineless/clueless leadership.

Tampa PD?! The city just burned, 2 officers put on the desk, 60ish protesters had charges dropped, morale is a "dumpster fire" per the TPD Chief (it is on the news), Mayor caved into pressure, city counsel caved to pressure, police pulled back from the protestors...

What am I missing... People leaving the department early, PBA went into hiding, quotas being called "activity stats"...

Other than that, ya it is a great place to work. Sounds like TPD is desperate to get new recruits to fill all the slots that people are leaving.

Pinellas is across from Tampa on the water. Our Sheriff didnt take any knees, and was out making arrests when they started the nonsense in St Petersburg.
