    Are you kidding? pre 2000 we had lousy pay, no cars, no equipment, no Union. No morale at all.

    It got better after 2000. But we still complained about every Chief we had-- Thorpe, Hogle, Raz and now Bevan.

    With all the Studies out there on 12 hour shifts on how they are less productive, less safe for Officers, and destructive on the Officer health why we went to 12 hour shifts if beyond me.

    Seems like we are going backwards to me.

    The 12 hour shifts are ok. Better than 8's. Things are ok here, could be a lot worse. Could have merry here again. Good riddens!
