Get it through your thick head. The department could give a crap about you and your safety. Deal with it. At this job, your life is of no value.

It is a joke what the state is getting away with. The pay compared to the locals and feds is a complete joke.

I called and spoke to a friend in circuit 6 and understand this person had been certified for a whole 6 weeks ,wth who is out alone in the first 6 weeks in our circuit it 3 months minimum of them driving with a Veteran. They need to learn how to do field work . Mistakes and complacently makes us dead . I must admit I am glad I am not in a circuit that allows this type of field training of new officers. I am glad I was trained in a circuit that cared . I understand that the recruit can not have a weapon because the class to qualify is 7 months after they been certified and may have graduated the academy in Feb but the gun class is September or October , WHAT. Would you ask a fireman to go without that hose for the 7 months (stole it Noah )Shame on you all not having the safety of all officers as your top priority . You should be fired and the department sued.

LOL I agree because if I were to post the true version of this gun incident as it was relayed to me ,someone was surely nuts. I could not work there lol maybe working in Pinellas is why they are nuts. Stay safe and stay out of Circuit 6 .

Start calling the representatives and ask them to do a drive along with you . We need to help ourselves.

Call your representatives? They are the ones screwing you! The only way is to put them out of office. They don't have the time or the desire to ride along with you, that would be beneath them. THEY DON"T CARE!!!! Get it through your thick head!

The circuit six people are nuts. You have to laugh when you hear the stories coming out of that area. The circuit is like the island of misfit toys.
