Guys, if you have 10 or more to go you need to get serious and oust these clowns before they totally destroy a once proud and professional police department.
LMFAO Proud and Professional??? Did Gloates or Levine make two officers get drunk on duty and run over tourist with their ATVs or another get wasted at his club 59 or a Captain sign up to porn sites using his city email??? MBPD has been the bottom of the barrel in Dade county for sometime before those two took over.

MBPD has always been a great Department. The lack of leadership under Noriega led to the July 3rd incident. There was NO discipline under him until July 3rd happened. Then he tried to turn into a Hammer and therghtening the Media with lawsuits if they continued to write negative stories about him. His awful tenure changed the MBPD forever.

As far as the Chiefs that we have all over. Dave Allen and Julio Yero are QRU. Don Delucca, Chuck Press, Tom Weachler, Mark Overton, Alan Solowitz, Tom Hunker, half of the FDLE and SAO investigators.

Don confuse Noriegas tenure with the rest.

Overton was here for a minute, he wisely left, no one here appreciated has style. He was a good, God fearing man that was severely unappreciated. Yero, are you serious, that guy only care about himself! He was part of the Hispanic brotherhood, if you weren't one of them you we garbage. Solawitz, that guy was an asshole.....but really knew his stuff. The BS of this era wouldn't be tolerated. They we would complain about that!

Richie Barretto was the last of the REAL police Chiefs. He was politically somewhat incorrect and protected the department, the entire department not just one group.

Lol. Barreto became Cuban when the Hispanics were the majority in the commission. Took care of us? Lol. He said we were "riding the gravy train" during Collars for Dollars. He also tried to stay past his DROP but we had a Union with BALLS that prevented it from happening.

Julio is a very QRU person don't know where you got the bad 13 on him.

There is no one in our history that is as horrible or disliked as Dan Oates. He will be remembered as the absolute worst Chief this city has ever experienced. My only hope is that his legacy ends quickly before he is able to destroy this department any further.

Barretto left after his son's accident. I think the Yero in question is the prick Eddie Yero.

Barreto wanted to stay as an "Administartive" chief. He was not supported by the Union and decided to not fight it and spend more time with his family. Looking back I would have rather if seen him stay.

    Julio is not Eddie.
