    2016 Retiree Luncheon

Hope to see lots of retirees, active members and family at the 2016 Luncheon at the PBA Hall.

Rumor has it the guest speaker will be Mr Stump and instead of gift baskets to raffle, he donated buckets of lead!!!

I'll say Thanks in advance to all in the FOP and FLPD who work hard to put on a great luncheon.

Hope the new retirees drag along the old timers. I don't think they'll have Bingo after the lunch but hey, anythings possible.

    Cool Great Retiree Luncheon

    2016 for the FLPD luncheon,
many civilians and cops were talking and munchin
    with good food and friends
the stories were funny and some were old
but I didn't hear any about George Bartold

Thanks to the chef, the bartenders and staff
the event went smooth again with many a laugh
many came from close by but some from far away
and it made for such another great day
some pictures were posted by some who were there
and the real old timers are becoming more rare

Let's hope that for next years luncheon we lose no more
and those who missed this year walk next year thru the door
and KUDOS to the previous poster who mentioned the stump
us old timers can still say keep your lead and kiss my rump

For next year don't expect cottage cheese, jello or bingo
but maybe we can ask Mitch to do some sing ohhh
Mitch said no one does it like FLPD
and as a family we need to support our retirees

I gladly pay the monthly dues
and hope that by next year we get some more good news
Thanks to Jim, Paul and the rest of the all
    who work behind the scenes
Remember to say Olah, we'll happily take the Cola!

Looking forward to next year's event. Thanks again to all who made it happen
