    Another bold face union lie!

    The union lied through their teeth! We want to get the contract don't so we can get time , benefits, retro etc by years end. Another slap in the face!

    I sent an email to Human Resources for “when” answers and to make recommendations to the implementation of new pay based on the contract:

    1. The 3 new extra floating holidays are supposed to be added on the pay check of 12/17/2015.
    2. The new pay is scheduled to implemented on the pay check of 12/31/2015.
    3. If the new is implemented on 12/31/2015, as I was told, the transfer to DROP of accrued time can be done in the beginning of January.
    4. The conversion of vacation to sick, if you are over your limit, will not be done until all transfers are made to the DROP and all vacation used in 2015 has been closed out.
    5. Due to several payroll requirements in January ( W-2’s, Affordable Care Act reporting, and the entire bargaining unit pay increase) the retro pay cannot calculated until February 2016.
    6. Any Jumpstarts done from October 1, 2015 to December 31, 2015 will be recalculated will the pay increase and the difference will be added to the member’s DROP account.
