A shout out to retirees and those who have already looked into post-retirement living. A few members in DROP have been discussing options on living out of Florida after we're through and wonder if anyone who has already made the jump or looked into same can advise best options in the southeast for retiring. Where should we avoid and which states offer the best/cheapest taxes? Any legitimate input would be appreciated. Thanks

Just move to Nebraska. All you will need is a enough money for a room at The Jayhawk, beer at Coastal and some fired chicken or gyros at the place in between them. If you get cold and lonely at night just wait for something sweet to walk on by. When the 13th check comes in get a bike down at Value Pawn and find a Victor unit for a light kit. You are all set.
