'Tonight We Lost One of Our Brothers': On-Duty Texas Deputy Shot and Killed at Gas Station

An on-duty uniformed deputy in Texas was shot and killed Friday night while pumping gas into his cruiser, authorities said.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office said that a male suspect with a dark complexion, wearing a white shirt and red shorts, opened fire on the officer at a gas station just outside Houston.

"A male suspect came up from behind the deputy and shot the deputy multiple times. The deputy then fell to ground. The suspect then continued over to him and shot the deputy again multiple times as he laid on the ground," deputy Thomas Gilliland told reporters.

"I can tell you that with diligence and justice, this suspect will be caught and he will be brought to justice," Gilliland added.

The suspect was described as a man in his early-to-mid 20s with short hair. Police say he was driving a maroon or red fleet side extended cab Ford Ranger. A manhunt was underway.

A motive was not yet clear.

"Tonight we lost one of our brothers. This is an extremely difficult time right now for the Harris County Sheriff's Office," the sheriff's office said on Twitter. "We ask that you continue to give us your prayers and thoughts. Continue praying for this deputy's family."

And if Obama had a son I bet he would look like........... Apparently every thug out there that is committing crimes or acts of violence. I have yet to hear him say his son looks like any of the medal of honor or the combat wounded soldiers. This guys first reaction to the shooting in Virginia was not, oh that is a crime of hate and mental illness. Nope, it was "we need to get better gun control". Really!!! That clown was so hell bent on killing he would have done it with any weapon he could have gotten his hands on. A gun just happened to be the weapon he used. This country is going down the drain like crap in a toilet.

Pay attention to what organized black groups like NAACP, Urban League, Black Churches, Texas Black Caucus Politicians and related black groups do to condemn this execution of a police officer. A B/M committed this murder, for no apparent reason other than he hated the police and possibly bought into the rhetoric of killing us for killing them. Long before BLM, I couldn't help but notice that when you lost those two officers to a B/M thug a few years ago, none of these black groups locally did anything officially to condemn their murders, and to my knowledge did nothing officially to help the officers families, why is that?
