I read a few weeks ago, one of your Mann suppoters said that the Officers were cleared by the SAO?
Arenal has not been without controversy either. In 2012, the public information officer for his agency claimed harassment after Arenal referred to her as a lesbian.
According to media reports, Christy Arnold complained that during a staff meeting someone said she was getting married and the chief replied, "That's just a cover." He also had allegedly asked what kind of underwear she wears.
Arenal downplayed Arnold's claims. "Some were absolutely false and some were inflated, exaggerated," he said.

Of
Chief Lees has forgotten more than this new chief will learn in a lifetime. You can't even imagine the outrage we are feeling at CCPD over this bullshit. Chief Lees has the respect, experience and knowledge to do great things here, but instead we trade him for a Punta Gorda chief who managed a department the size of Sea Ranch Lakes.
What about the PBA and the city commish do they even care that this guy racked up lawsuits about how he targeted females.

Outraged? Are you really outraged?! You must be one miserable person if this is making you so angry. There are many factors you need to remember. If you were in any of the many roll calls Chief Lees attended, you would know he has to leave in May; no ifs, ands or buts. The plan is for Chief Lees to come back 6 months and a day after he "retires" in May as our deputy Chief. The CM believes the department needs to be accredited and has hired thee guy to get us there. Chief Arenas is well known in this area and the CM believes him to be the best fit. So be it. Deal with it however you need to. Chief Arenas will be here October 1st. Let's try and give him the benefit of the doubt that whatever happened at Punta Gorda was with a couple of scorned employees. Every department has them, don't we??
Seriously, don't be so angry. Let's not forget the last 5 years with Mann and how practically ruined our great department with his idiotic decision making. It will and has been getting better.
