    Killing of law enforcement officers

    Does anyone remember Detective Melvin
Santiago? He was a Jersey City police officer
who was shot to death just a month ago, on July
13th. Santiago was white. His killer,
Lawrence Campbell, was black. Does anyone
    recall Obama appearing before national
television and calling for justice for Officer
Santiago's family? Does anyone recall Eric
Holder (what a joke he is) rushing to Jersey City to see that justice was done?

How about Officer Jeffrey Westerfield. He was a
Gary, Indiana police officer who was shot to
death last month on July 6th. Westerfield was
white. His killer, Carl LeEllis Blount, Jr. was
black. Where was Obama? Where was Holder?

Or Officer Perry Renn? He was an Indianapolis,
Indiana police officer who was shot to death
just last month on July 5th, the day before
Officer Westerfield was killed. Officer Renn
was white. His killer, Major Davis, was
black. I don't recall any mention by Obama
about the untimely death of Officer Renn. And,
I doubt that Eric Holder rushed to Indianapolis
to make sure justice was done. Or, maybe I just missed it.

Vermillion Parish Deputy Sheriff Allen Bares was
gunned down by two men just last June 23rd in
Louisiana. Deputy Bares was white. His two
killers, Quintlan Richard and Baylon Taylor,
were black. Was Obama outraged? Did Eric
Holder rush to Louisiana to make sure that the
family of Deputy Bares found justice?

Here in Killeen, TX, Detective Charles
Dinwiddie of the Killeen Police Department was
murdered by Marvin Lewis Guy, a black
male. Officer Dinwiddie was white. This
happened on May 11th, just over two months
ago. I don't even recall seeing anything
about that on the news. Certainly, the white
citizens in Killeen didn't take to the streets
to loot and burn businesses. Again, I don't
recall any mention by Obama or Holder.

Then, there is Officer Kevin Jordan of the
Griffin, Georgia Police Department. He was
gunned down just two months ago on May
31st. Officer Jordan was black. His killer,
Michael Bowman, was white. This was a white man
murdering a black police officer. Where was
Jesse Jackson? Where was "The Reverend" Al
Sharpton? Was there looting and burning on the
streets of Griffin, Georgia? No. In fact, I
don't recall hearing about this one in the news,
as well. Why? You can draw your own conclusions.

Over the past 60 days, there have been five
reported deaths of police officers by gunshot in
the US. Of those, four were white officers who
were murdered by black men. Blacks complain
that white officers threaten black men more
aggressively on the street. You can draw your
own conclusions on that one, as well.

It's been a few years. Maybe time to polish this thread up with the latest data, but what is listed is pretty darn accurate! It's not always that the victim was black. It seems that mostly the cops were to 'blame.' I grew up in a world where the cops were the good guys. I always wanted to be one and I later I made it. I NEVER once started my shift hoping to hurt anyone. I wanted to help people and lock up those who would prey on the weak or unsuspecting so they could answer for the crimes. THEN I saw it was not the 'Justice System' but was instead the 'Legal System.' So many times charges are reduced or dropped and the suspect is free to do it again! Victimizing more good people.

Let's call it what it is! The guys in Mineaopolis screwed up! Yes, I firmly believe there is much more to the story that will come to light, but I cant think of any reason that the knee had to be on the neck! Other than the others being new as hell, I cant think of why they didnt step in to check him. But this doesn't make police bad. It makes those guys bad (possibly...we'll get the facts first).

We as cops are under straight up attack every day and there are no protests. No marches. No outcry! Our brothers and sisters go into the worst places and deal with the most sickening situations and take on the monsters not fit for decent society every day. Mistakes will be made. We are human!

Why are cops in 'black communities' so much? That's simple. We were dispatched there! Called there by a black person wanting to report a crime. We have to respond. Resist not....fear not! Just comply and dont feel the need to make a point on scene.

I hate what happened in Minneapolis. Its terrible. I ask you to think about the message you send to your police and deputies that you have such outcry and multiple nationwide memorial services for, well, let's call him what he was, a dead junkie (autopsy showed a smorgasbord of dope in his system), but ZERO outcry our wounded and dead brave Leo's who answered the call for service and tried to protect. I'll say it again, what happened to Mr. Floyd is a tragedy. I truly believe it. It was a terrible mistake, but at least acknowledge our brave men and women who gave the final measure! Just a wee bit of outcry! Just a wee bit of protest and standing up for them! Maybe a march for us at some point to say NO MORE! Stop hating the cops! We are there / here to protect and assist! If you are innocent and not committing crimes, you have NOTHING to fear from us. If you dont feel the need to throw a shenanigan fit on scene, you have nothing to fear. If you just dont resist or obstruct, you have nothing to fear from us!

All live matter! All lives are precious! This includes BLUE LIVES! Stand up for those who stand up for you EVERY DAY! You stand up for Mr. Floyd, why not your servants?
