    Let's see...

TPD has now officially hired three people from our agency that start in the next month or so.. And we actually had two people leave this agency and go to Lakeland PD and are in training now. Someone from book in left to go to Temple Terrace.. Not to mention retirements, and others leaving or in the works to leave.

Anyone ever pull FDLE's Criminal Justice Agency Profile report? It's a public record they post on their website. It even has a cool function to let you list Sheriff's Office's by rate of attrition. Guess what? We have one of the highest amount's of people leaving the agency than any other Sheriff's Office in the state. We are in the top 5. This is not percentage, this is by pure amount of officers leaving. There are quite a few other Sheriff's Offices that are much bigger than ours, and we still lose more people than they do.

So, when is our staff going to pull their head out of the sand and wake up and see that this place really is going to crap? Do something about the way this place is run, the benefits and pay?

Or is it going to be more smoke and mirrors and "everything is ok" and "do more with less"?

obviously they don't and have never cared who leaves. They make their dime a dozen deputy statements and mean it.why would they care if they lose good people the ones that they hired to replace them will be stuck making entry salary for the next 10 years of their career

Go to LPD. Its about to rebound. Be appreciated instead of micro-managed, brow beat, and threatened with punishment for everything. And you can tell them to shove their avl right up their backsides.

37 open positions and counting. Not to mention the ones who are currently in the hiring process of other agencies.

A link to a friends FB page shows ANOTHER BCI employee is leaving at the end of Feb. That's what, 3 BCI people so far ( and more to come ). hmmm I wonder why and I'm pretty sure I know where she's going. Good job sccoby. So how's that "Rule with an iron fist" and treat your employees like dirt under your shoe working out for you? All of these folks that are leaving are not rejects or newbies or bad people, they WERE dedicated employees who devoted their lives to their career and the agency and sacrificed family time and personal time for your ego.

But regardless of whether she's leaving for another agency or for a new career, she's obviously tired of the treatment here. Kudos to her, breath the free air.

I saw a few nice pictures posted today. It was Ex-Deputy Jessica Campbell having her NEW badge pinned on her by her husband, aka Ex-Deputy Aaron Campbell. And not surprisingly she was standing beside 2 other Ex Deputies who found that greener grass the company chumps are always saying to go get. Well they did and the smiles on their faces tell the tale. Not to worry though, there will be many more swearing in's at TPD involving Ex-PCSO Deputies.

    Modern academy cost - $2,000.00 +
Boots, Flashlights, Gloves ect - $250.00
yearly increasing Insurance premiums - $ your call

The look on the face of a newly sworn in Police Officer who now works for a department who appreciates, cares and respects them as a valued member while not living under the daily fear of being discarded like stale food and while having a union that will ensure they are treated the same as everybody else -

wait for it, waaaaaait for it ------------------- PRICELESS

Staff doesn't care about who leaves. There will soon be more vacant positions then can be filled. People who have recently left received almost a $12,000 raise. Most that should be topped out at step ten are still at step four or five, how pathetic. Get a clue Staff, the old saying of "be glad you have a job" doesn't pay the bills or provide for a family. This agency is a joke and agency members are laughed at by members of other agencies. Eight star dual flag ship agency doesn't mean a thing when your agency members are treated like crap and receive a pathetic salary. Get a clue everyone, a better job is only an application away. Just fill it out, leave, smile and laugh while using your skills at another agency. Also, the grass is greener on the other side for all the idiotic supervisors who throw that up in the faces of the deputies when they mention leaving.

Bunch of whiny cry babies. Hurry up and move on. Why were you here to begin with, the pay has always been the same. Hopefully they will get you processed and hired in the same day. If you are getting counseling and reprimands that means you can't follow the rules and probably shouldn't be a leo to begin with .
