Kurt Hoffman for sheriff 2016?

Hoffman is moving to south Venice so he can run for sheriff in 2016. He is being set up by the Republican machine. He has a ton of skeletons in his closet, including protecting JB in the Cohen case and more recently RL.

Someone took a trip to Ohio where his victim lives and had a good "financial" discussion so things would become quiet and no further action would be taken by the SAO and the SSO.

2016 is going to be wild!

The Charlotte County voters already gave Kurt Hoffman a resounding NO when he ran for sheriff. Hoffman lost. Exactly how many times is Hoffman going to run for sheriff? TWICE? Next time in Sarasota County? :roll: Nope, Hoffman isn’t wanted as sheriff in Charlotte County and certainly NOT in Sarasota County, never ever, even if the Sarasota GOP Waechter machine endorses him, just as it endorsed Mr. Tom Knight.

The Sarasota GOP Wacheter machine just spent a boatload of money trying to get Richard Dorfman elected – TWICE – and Dorkman lost both times.

So if Hoffman going to run AGAIN, then maybe Hoffman can consult with Richard Dorfman and David Gustafson on how to conduct repeat campaign. However, who should Hoffman consult about his the theft of CCSO gas that he used in his personally owned car? Inquiring minds want to know!

The vast majority of idiots on the second floor have done very little law enforcement, but they want all the prestige of being a street cop while they sit in the safety of their offices collecting “a high risk retirement” with six figure salaries. :roll: Where does Hoffman fit into this equation?

Kurt Hoffman worked at multiple departments, but stayed at none and bounced from job to job because he couldn't remain hired -- until Balkwill hired him as a civilian attorney and then swore him in as a command officer. :roll: It's all public record.

Kurt Hoffman worked for 4 years at CCSO (1989-1995), but he had to quit. You can ask him for the scoop on that. :snicker: Then a couple of years later (1997), Cooper City PD gave Hoffman a second chance and hired him, but he didn’t make the cut and he had to quit (again) after only 4 months on-the-job. You can also ask Hoffman about that scoop too.

Then Hoffman got re-hired (again) at CCSO in their auxiliary unit (part-time), but then he got in trouble (2003) when he got caught stealing CCSO gas (twice) which he used in his personally owned vehicle. Twice? Puh-leeze!!! There is a pattern here! :roll: Then he failed a polygraph about it – so he quit (again).

Even with Hoffman’s skeletons, Balkwill still hired him in 2005 as a civilian attorney – and then Balkwill swore Hoffman in and promoted him to a command position inside the Sarasota Sheriff’s Office where he is has made multiple “shady political decisions and deals” that will never see the light of day (???). Look at the first post in this thread about the “financial trip” to Ohio. I’m surprised that someone even knows about that. Wow!!!

Then there is little stuff, like when Hoffman stole a Playboy magazine (retail theft). Eric Ernst wrote a newspaper article about Hoffman’s theft. Make sure you ask Hoffman about that too!!! LOL

Fair enough. But why didn’t he write about Lee Williams’ editor Bart Pfankuch who got arrested for stealing Walmart fishing lures in Sarasota? Bart left SH-T in late 2012 to take a job as editor of the Rapid City Journal. Oh my, how crime pays in journalism.

Its not surprising that Hoffman got washed out during field training because its a probationary position that is designed to identify people who are potentially a high liability to public safety. It was also a street level cop job and NOT sitting in an office, which is what he does now. What is surprising is that Balkwill swore Hoffman in to a high ranking position after he got washed out of an entry level probationary position. Welcome to the Sarasota Sheriffs Office. :roll:
