    Animal concerns

    I live in the city and needed help with a stray dog. I am getting the run around , does the Animal Unit still work out of the police department?

    If you have any concerns for animals, the New Port Richey Animal Protection Unit should be the LAST place you seek help from!

    More parvovirus? Time to close the old SPCA and let the County Animal Control handle it all. The volunteers have killed too many of our furry friends.

    It appears as though the virus has spread from the admin. at the PD to the pooches in the pound!
