It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the sudden death of Gary L Minium. Gary passed away 5 Jan 2012, but not before accomplishing so much in life; and touching so many people along the way. Gary followed his father's (Robert L Minium) footsteps. Serving in the Marine Corp from 1957-1962 and went on to wear the badge with honor for the Metro Dade Police Department. Gary served the force from 1962-1993 and retired as a Major. Gary is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Sharon Minium; his daughters, Traci Minium, Denise Bryant, Lori Minium and his son In-law Pete Bryant and countless grandchildren. Gary is preceded in death by his father Robert Minium, Mom Francis Minium and his son Scott Minium. Gary Minium AKA, crazy eyes, Gary Bob, coach asked us to please celebrate his life, his family and friends. So we will have a Mic Ultra for him at his home in Dunnellon, Fl. In Lu of flowers, Gary has requested you make a donation to St. Jude's or the Wounded Warrior Project.
