    RED LIGHTS

Ft Lauderdale Chief of Police Adderly, was interviewed on ch 7 regarding punishment of his officers who were seen on red light cameras. He stated that no employer in the state fires its employees for runing a red light, consequently he will not fire his officers or write them a summons, the department will take internal action and that is it. A COP with balls!!! that defends his men.

Defends nothing. He said they would be handled internally. That is SOP anywhere. He should have said it would be investigated. Nothing to handle if the cop was chasing a DUI. Or going to an in progress call.
