After a nation-wide search the best qualified candidate was right here all the while. What a joke.

No formal education, no command staff training, never had command staff experience in the field, his claim to fame was CALEA. What a lost opportunity to bring in the best to Pinecrest, is this what I pay taxes for? Now they send him to the FBI training and he is gone for 3 months and the acting chief is a LT that was promoted from Sgt 5 months ago. So a Sgt. is running the entire department. Pry nothing happens, what a joke......WOW.

Tom Hunker from Bal Harbour should be recruited as Chief. He's done an awesome job in Bal Harbour and is very well liked by everyone.

Sammy's daddy, retired MDPD, befriended Raul Martinez some time back and had Raul successfully transfer Sammy out of the Narcotics Bureau where daddy felt that Sammy was in danger.

I knew there had to be some connection somewhere. Nobody in there right mind would hire this imbecile as a chief of police. At least we now know that the city manager is a puppet on a string.
