    The Chief

WOW did you guys hear the screaming and yelling in the station. Old bobby dee seemed to hold Andrew A. of the PBA hostage, then threaten to arrest him. OMG what kind of animal does that to a lawyer who is fighting for the rights of a cop. THAT COP in question needs to sue the city. Hope the SAO 39's booby dee.

If the SAO is involved, then there might be finally be a chance to get rid of the chief. His contract (which never expires) only allows the city to fire him for criminal cause. Maybe assaulting and threatening an attorney representing an officer might be criminal?

Here's the contract if you don't believe it. http://www.scribd.com/doc/35775880/Police-Chief

Holy $H&%, I don't believe this contract. We in the community now know why he acts the way he does. The contract allows him to do anything; violate the union contract (which he is doing), fire officers with no fear of review or having to justify his actions, answer any questions of the City Manager or the City Commissioners for anything he does (he can't be interfered with, per contract). He has written changes to the union contract without conferring with the City or Union (Take Home Vehicle Program, totally changed). He acts out, uncontrollably, many times yelling and screaming at co-workers, specifically both Lieutenants, some Sergeants and some Officers (who do not speak up because they are intimidated and afraid of retribution). Why would anyone complain when he has all the control, all the power, why risk suspension or termination as others have? With this contract no one can intervene or stop his disconcerting behavior or attempt directing him toward a more acceptable form of supervision, there is no room to negotiate with him.

The City Manager is usually the voice of reason in situations like this to protect the City from law suits, he in turn is controlled by the City Commissioners, who together guide the City and its employees. Not now.

Daniels publicly and verbally threatened to (unjustly) arrest an attorney. I am referring to his latest tirade, yelling and screaming at an Attorney who was representing a police officer during an I.A. Investigation on July 3, 2012. Making his actions more embarrassing is the fact it took place throughout the station continuing into a hallway (as the attorney was trying to escape the Chief's berserk antics) of City Hall where the city's employees were assisting citizens. How can this be an acceptable example of self control with officers present or throughout the police force and to the citizens of North Bay Village? What if his officers acted like that toward the public, would he take action to correct the behavior? You bet he would! Why, then, is it acceptable for him to do it? The Commissioners should put a letter of reprimand in his jacket to document his harmful behavior.

There is a City Meeting tomorrow, July 10, Daniels should be made to explain himself, but why should he:

    HE ANSWERS TO NO ONE!

Not to worry, the SAO was gathering information the other day. If they actually do anything it will be a wonder, but then again it is ELECTION YEAR FOR KATHY R., so who knows?
The officers were talking about security tapes the Chief had the IT guy pull---those tapes better not come up missing. Bet we will see them on LEO.

Soon to be decertified, 0939'ed, inmate #1369 (unlucky cork soaker) Mr. Daniels? He so through Commissioner Chervony under the bus in the Mcvay IA over facebook. If the city fired spongebob today, the city attorney would have to defend the city should daniels file suit. Now then that would be the same law firm defending a termination and they wrote the contract per trujillo and company. WOW!!!

Now that it is public, that the FOP has no use for bob, (but brian does) they aren't in any way taking a fight to him at all. The FOP half heartily attempts to conceal their lack of respect for NBV's finest and once again the PBA is fighting for the cops here.

    Re: The Chief

I was informed SJ is back in uniform patrol. Thought he was being investigated for something and they put him on administrative leave. I also hear Daniels is being investigated for assault and threatening to falsely arrest a PBA Attorney who wanted to get out of the station. Do you think Daniels will put himself on administrative leave? His actions have got to be far worse than anything SJ is being investigated for...actually, does anyone know what SJ is being investigated for? Now, all of a sudden (after Daniels realizes he himself is being investigated), Daniels lets SJ come back. Seems fishy, like maybe he knows whatever he's doing to SJ is wrong and that the punishment doesn't fit the crime and Daniels doesn't want more of his transgressions coming out during his investigation.

HEY, MODERATOR! Why did you remove the Chief's contract? Is the moderator Ms. Hairdo, whose butt was saved by Chief's number one (McC)? Did it embarrass the Chief and he told you to remove it because you owe him for the "I gave her permission to get her hair done"' lie.
The contract is public record and everyone has a right to see it. Whomever originally published it, please republish it.
