City going to give money to Jungle Island

Jungle Island has been unable to make a $2 million payment on a $15 million loan.

The City will probably give them the money and then take it from us. When will it end?

@Broke ass cop...That is only part of the story. Why don't you mention about the outside investor willing to pick up the tab in exchange for more land to add to Jungle Island. The City is not in favor to give the Island money...it's still in a delay. The Commish knows that only posting part of the story looks good for you. Even though this outside investor option will probably not happend, post all the facts douchebag. Your post = epic fail!

Nothing new. The city subsidizes Jungle Island every fiscal year. The city also sends millions to the PAC. Wonder how much the PAC will need this upcoming fiscal year?

Trolley system, Marlins stadium, Jungle Island, CRA......all have been mismanaged and the shortages are taken out of the employees. Our union is in bed with the politicians and the only hope we have is Al Crespo? he is good but one man cant change all the severe mismanagement in city hall. We are in trouble!
