    Retiree Advisory Commitee

I seem to recall that some time in the distant past Headquarters talked about either a retiree advisory committee or an advisory committee in which retirees would participate. Did either ever come to pass?

They don't need an advisory committee to run the agency into the ground. The 8th floor is taking care of that all by themselves.

I was curious on the subject because a retired colleague reported having a private retiree list given up to his former HQ. I, myself, now regard my request for information to have been a waste of everyone's time, for which I am sorry. I see handwriting on the wall that indicates to me that it is only a matter of time before the 8th floor capitulates to Sec. DHS in moving investigations to her Homeland Security Investigations (an oxymoron if there ever was one) and leaving protection to to the Chosen Few in the Office of Protective Operations. But, that all could change in November.
