All these insurance and PBA posters are either retirees or those who have enjoyed their many years in the drop and see retirement quickly coming.

They don't care about those of us who had our pensions decimated. They haven't suffered through pay cuts, pension increases, vehicle surcharges. How about the new 70 point, minimum age 50 requirements, five year averaging, or $100,000 pension cap.

Our FLOP negotiated us all these new benefits. In the best financial years this city has ever seen, they got us a 3-3-3 raise.

Their efforts weren't in vain. They did get Jr promoted and all those FOP members in good standing with our mayor were promoted.

Those who say impeachment, don't know what they are talking about. The local and State FOP are squarely in Armando's corner.

The final insult of the new reform minded FLOP was the latest by law change stating that only board members may be elected to president or VP.

The FLOP is broken. If it requires me taking another short term paycut by switching unions then so be it. At least we might get some representation who didn't make a pact with Regalado.

The fop is completely broken all that fuzz about the insurance is another scare tactics for people to stay with the fop. Faith has been lost because Armando eagerness to poison, ruin people career and have his own son promoted under a scandal of favoritism to the new chief and the mayor. Not even could the fop bring the members together for a rally at the marlin stadium.....turn off lights and bring the PBA....

    Orosa stops PBA letters

    Unread postby Guest » 04/10/12 14:21:41
Orosa ordered the mail room to not deliver letters from the PBA to officers at the Miami Police Department. Now it could be that the amount of letters overwhelmed the mail room or staff, or more likely, Orosa is trying to protect his buddy Armando who made him chief. Armando made Orosa chief by selling out the rank n file, promising the mayor he would not fight the imposed cuts except what he had to do to keep up appearances. In return, Orosa made AA jr.EA. Now with the FOP Executive Board in jeopardy of losing the union and the entire department Orosa is going on step further an obstructing the delivery of US mail.

    Just another day at MPD.

Come to think of it Orosa is more whore than *****. He is MSJ *****, he is Regaldos *****, he Armandos *****....so being that many peoples ***** he is just a cheap whore.

The problem with the letter is that it is written by the former FOP attorney. The letter may be 100% accurate but the Exec Board has destroyed the credibility of the FOP and everyone associated with it. If you dont want the PBA then the writers here who are FOP supporters need to pressure the current board to step down. It is time for new leadership.

The move by Orosa to stop the PBA letters is just another plot with his buddy Armando. The Chief and FOP have displayed the side that they are on and it isnt the rank n file's, it is the Mayor's. The end is coming for the FOP and it is only because the Exec Board has crapped all over the membership.

    FOP ELECTIONS now.

    Unread postby Guest » 04/10/12 18:49:51
It is time for the FOP Executive Board to do the right thing and announce they are resigning from the board and holding new elections within sixty days. No absentee ballots, county elections department to over see elections, follow all election laws, etc. Let the rank n file speak now. Board members may run if they like and let the results fall where they may.

It is unbelieveable how bad this city, police and FOP adminstration has totally screwed over and screwed up the Miami Police Department.
