We all have a point of view, that's the way it's supposed to be but language like that has no expression of value, he should give up before he blows up.
How about this,we police officers have taken a hit for sure and had little to do with the causes. I would say the vast majority of our rank and file are and will remain conservative regardless. Now, do you remember Mayor Alvarez on television at the height of the recession flanked by all the "Commander's" from this department stating that he was giving them all raises to separate them from the civil service captain's, how crazy was that? Add that to the raises showered on his own staff, the union pushing him for more for us, the tunnel and ball park and then a property tax increase. This was a perfect storm that brought him down as well as the rest of us.Please don't forget all the scandal's and resignations involving cheating and wasteful spending going on at the same time.
The national economy has everthing to do with what affects us today, it must reset and that can't be stoped unfortunately. Add the pressure on our local economy, the greed that has been the history od Miami-Dade County and change then arrived.
It's a tuff deal, we will survive and prosper once again, wait and see.
